Resolution Monday

Good morning and welcome to Resolution Monday!! Yes, it’s the first Monday of 2020 and it’s time to set our course for the coming year.  So, I invite you to share your resolutions. This year being 2020, think of something outside your “comfort zone”. Dream bigger. Dream wilder. Think the impossible, and I’ll bet by  year’s end, that dream will come true. This is my prayer for all my readers, followers, and friends.

Blessings!!

PS. I’m dreaming very big this year… a novel finished and published…and…. starting my own life coaching business!!

It is my hope and prayer that reading this article from iBelieve.com will help those who have loved ones with mental health issues as well as those who suffer in silence. I suffer from PTSD and depression, and for a long time I suffered in silence.

Happy Hanukkah!

Hanukkah, which is Hebrew for “dedication,” is the Festival of Lights.

It commemorates the victory over the Maccabees over the Syrian Greek army, and the subsequent miracle of rededicating the Holy Temple in Jerusalem and restoring its menorah, or lamp.

The miracle of Hanukkah is that only one vial of oil was found with just enough oil to illuminate the Temple lamp for one day, and yet it lasted for eight full days.

Winter Solstice 2019

It happens twice yearly, once in each hemisphere (Northern and Southern). For that hemisphere, the winter solstice is the day with the shortest period of daylight and longest night of the year, when the Sun is at its lowest daily maximum elevation in the sky. … The winter solstice occurs during the hemisphere’s winter.
