A Charlie Brown Christmas: An Observation No One Noticed
Hello friends and followers! I finished reading this article from Crosswalk.com and wanted to share it with my readers since the beginning of Advent and Christmas are only days away.
Beginning this Sunday, I will share daily Scripture readings and question(s) to think about, and I invite you to reply to in the comments section.
Blessings to you throughout the season of Advent, culminating with Christmas.

Women Who Served in Vietnam
Please take a few moments and read this article. I was only 6 years old when my father went to Vietnam. Thankfully and grateful that he came home in June 1968. What I didnt know was the large contingent of women who also served in Vietnam. This article describes the role, service, and heroism they played during this war where 58.000 men were killed and countless others came home maimed physically, and still today deal with the emotional scars.

Veteran’s Day…2019
Veterans Day is a time for us to take a moment to pay our respects to those who have served. For one day, we stand united in respect for our veterans.
This holiday started as a day to reflect upon the heroism of those who died in our country’s service and was originally called Armistice Day. It fell on Nov. 11 because that is the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I. However, in 1954, the holiday was changed to “Veterans Day” in order to account for all veterans in all wars.
We celebrate and honor our Veterans for their patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.
God bless each and every one of them and their families today and always.
The Power of Prayer
“The fervent prayers of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16). I am a firm believer in the power of prayer. That being said, I invite you today to share your prayer concerns and requests with me, no matter large or small, and I will pray for you. If you’re not comfortable with intimate/personal details, a key word in the comments below (marriage, job, health, children, etc.) will be fine.
Your part in this process? If you see someone else’s prayer request in the comments, pray for them also. When your prayer is answered, I want to know, so we can celebrate together.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Blessings today and always,
“Bethie”
