Hello friends! Yes, I know, you’re probably disappointed that the topic I picked for this week has nothing to do with Friday the 13th, but I think I’ve found a topic that we can all relate to at sometime in our lives — the family saga/drama. We have them in our homes (hopefully only occasionally), and yes, they’re long, complex, with lots of vivid characters and storylines to keep track of, but for me, they’re my “go-to” book of choice when I need to escape from my own troubles in my own life. I’m currently deeply engaged in Jeffrey Archer’s, “Mightier Than The Sword: The Clifton Chronicles.” As a starting off point, I’ve created two polls. Enjoy and “Let’s Talk Books”!
If a book title doesn’t come to mind right away, here’s a link I found to jog your memory and enhance the week’s topic.

Hello Bethie – gosh time passes quickly. Just getting here to see what your Friday Feature is.
Family Sagas – I’ve read some by Anna Jacobs who writes about Lancashire Lasses and their struggles at the turn of the 20th century. She also wrote about a family who gradually moved to Australia – The Trader series. I guess I’m not loyal to the ups and downs of families, I get fed up with them after a while lol

Bethie,
My favorite is The Forsyte Saga. I read the books and watched the PBS television series.
