A Message To My Readers

I heard your voice in my head as I read your words, and without seeing your face, I knew that your heart had been broken. Over these past months, you’ve been there for me through moments of frustration, discouragement, anger, and sadness.  As I thought of your words of encouragement, love and support, this song came to mind… Thank you for reminding me that it’s all about “The Climb”. So when you need to be lifted up I’ll be waiting,  and when you’re ready, I’ll hold your hand and we’ll make the climb together.

    Beautiful post.

  2. I agree, that was a beautiful post. It was short and sweet but I still like it was extremely powerful.

  3. Yes. Let’s do the climb together 🙂

But the video link seemed to be broken… I found another version of it and it’s really a great song 😀

    • Thank you for your comments. I’m sorry that the link didn’t work for you, but it works when I click on it. Did you click the arrow in the middle of the photo of the Texas Tenors? 😦 It’s a great song!!!

  4. 🙂
Due to some technicalities, I was not able to reply you on blogging 201 commons. you have a great blog with some great message.

    Carry on with your writings:)

  5. Listened to “The Climb” this morning. I really needed it.

  6. Hi Bethie, I’ve nominated you for the Liebster Award! You can find the details here – https://thistlesandwhistles.wordpress.com/2015/02/05/of-blogger-awards-liebster-award-nomination-1/

  7. Bethie seems awesome to me. It takes courage to say you hurt and want release. Then add aging and we see what could of been instead of what can be.

  8. I love this song. It is my go to song when I need some motivation. It definitely is about The Climb.

  9. Such a beautiful song–everyone needs to hear it. Inspiring.

  10. This is a beautiful, moving post! The moment I saw your photo, months ago, I could tell what a kind, caring person you are, and your words back that up. I don’t understand why it has taken me so long to get here. Maybe it is because this is the moment when I need it the most.
    Thank you so much x

    • You’re very welcome, my friend. I agree. For whatever reason, you came and visited today and found something that touched you. When I set out to begin this blogging journey last December, I told myself that if the words I wrote uplifted and encouraged just one person, I had achieved my goal. 😀 I have much more to say and do with this blog, and I’ll make sure I let you know ahead of time before a post I think you’ll particularly like, goes public. Have a great week!

  11. I seem to be lost for words! Thank you again Bethie, it’s good to know that you’re there. x

  12. Beautiful post!
